2025-01-03 ### How We Got to Now Six Innovations That Made the Modern World by Steven Johnson I read Steven Johnson's How We Got to Now. I had researched how our current way of life has developed over the past 100 years in the form of a 100-year map study during my first year at my carrier , and there were many things related to the content I had thought about there. The network of coldness and cleanliness had the same feeling in that study, but there were many things that I had not imagined, such as the story of glass and time. The same is true of the chapter on light. I want to convey the news of places that are not reached by light. If it were the tomb of Tutankhamen, it would be the poor living conditions of the people who live in groups around the city. The fight against disease until cleanliness is widely available, and the fact that glass is always involved in the discontinuous innovation of modern civilization in the midst of these battles. As someone who works for a manufacturer, I can really relate to this span of history of innovation seen through a lens.
