2025-04-13 Over the weekend, I tried connecting Obsidian with Claude via MCP. While there’s a lot you can do, I felt that if your notes are disorganized or not somewhat structured, it wastes processing time. Of course, AI can help extend and co-write based on existing notes, so I’d like to start by mapping out what I want to do and what I can do. The feature that lets you export notes to Canvas looks especially useful. I felt that more people are starting to use Obsidian as a knowledge repository because it allows you to save the results of deep research in Markdown and easily connect pieces of knowledge together. According to ChatGPT, that trend does seem to be happening.
